The first ever World Expo took place in London in 1851, which, as the centre of the industrial revolution, put forward a message of progress and affluence. Nowadays, the World Expo is one of the biggest event in the world. Realys Group and the other partner of the Belgian pavilion have translated the “Better City, Better Life” theme into the Belgian pavilion.

 "With more than 5 million visitors to our pavilion, or equivalent of half the population of Belgium, the Belgian Pavilion is one of the nost popular out of the around 250 pavilions in the World Expo Shanghai 2010. This means that around one in twelve visitors have come to see us"
