 Description of the project:

The ultimate objective of this project is to be a landmark in major cities of China. This schematic design is implemented on Suzhou ancient site in the old city and other future project could be implemented as well in major locations.

Another landmark in Beijing: “La Commune” by The Great Wall with very contemporary architecture creating an impressive contrast with the existing environment of The Great Wall.

Island One is a strong concept which has the potential to become a landmark in major cities and similar locations as in Suzhou i.e. nearby river sides.

The contrast of contemporary architecture with Asian facade treatment can as well create an impressive and harmonious contrast with the surroundings (river, hill, landscape, ancient archaeological elements, city skyline).
